Which Harness Drivers, Trainers and Connections Bet Heavy
« on: February 17, 2026, 06:21:05 PM »
Kenny McPeek (T-Breds) is the only insider who made it known to me (on his own volition) he doesn't wager.

I know Robert Cooper (Harness owner) bets heavy when they're a go.

I don't care where if your sharing, but current please not non-active tmbz1

With the driver and trainer percentage now deducted from the purse money, I don't see a need to supplement the money already in my pocket.  tmbz1

Purse money is so good now that I don't see much betting. Sure, an owner can bet his horse if he thinks he can win. But it's not like the old days. Plus, the pools are much smaller now, and bets all show up. People talk about betting offshore, but they are not in business to give away money.

Then of course you have the owners or trainers that say they bet thier horse good when it wins and made a ton of money. Most are full of shit. Covering up on a horse they overpaid for, which is way underperforming

I was not going to get involved in this topic because of the danger but he  is bad at hiding it and judges are even more corrupt because he does it so poorly when gapping a football field then flying on end.  He would be the worst offender i believe and most of the biggest offenders are weg drivers as most drive for a 6th finish at huge odds,  i believe  over the years that a few off us know who the gamblers are,       i have to be honest that i like guys that set up huge prices ways more than guys dropping 4 lines to pay 2-80 but today i  believe there are zero guys setting up big prices as the chalk route makes sense to them and almost all of them end off broke.

The worst for of cheating is single file racing with everyone given a hole,   You should be correct with your logic but i believe you are not because when that board talks it tells the truth.

Yonkers is the worst. They line up every race, and no one makes any moves till past the half. If you have the 7 or 8, it's a take-back till next week. It's tough to get in thier, but if you look at the earnings of the horses that do race there, they'll get thier share of the inflated purses. Some are better than others, but they all do very well.

[/quote   Yonkers is a half mile but a 7/8 mile race its insane but i can say the western CANADIAN boys are very friendly to each other,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Maybe football needs to learn and when two boys line up and one is from TEXAS and the other from OKLAHOMA they need to be easy on each other and let the guy get to his quarterback once in a while and thats how a true southern gentleman works,   its called LOVE and harness racing has that.
