Caveat EmptorIan Moore may know more than he is saying with regard to fertility issues..Most of Moores horses they say are on some sortof steroid to muscle them up down south and thesesteroids may cause fertility issues.Maybe..maybe not..I would think the buyers request a clean bill of healthand fertility tests prior to laying out 7 figures.
Any thoughts on what he will bring? European market has no interest in where he is a pacer, so his price will probably be lower than the 1.8 million that Luther spent for Amazing Catch. The best shot is the new owner to stand him in Kentucky.Curious at what price they buy him back?
What I find interesting is that.....in all the announcements, press releases, interviews, and so on.....he is being talked about as a "stallion prospect." ZERO mention of racing. So, he comes off the track and will immediately have fertility tests done. Hmmmmmm. Sell him as a stallion prospect, sure, you have to produce fertility tests. Sell him as a racing prospect, what do you have to give, make accessible, and sign off to in the sales contract.
There are quite a few options for Beau Jangles as a stallion if he is fertile!Massachusetts is an up and coming program.Kentucky is relatively new in the market.I believe these states have programs that are later in the season when NY and PA are done!Always room in Ohio and Indiana too!Pricing would determine whether this is viable for both the new owners of BJ as well as potential breeders looking for new blood.
I don't think someone is buying him for Massachusetts.
