Not sure what planet you live on to make a statement that you’re not thriving if you collect a quarter million dollars and have two children? There are many people who thrive on way less than that. I think you’re a little out of touch with reality.
You live in NY or NJ & think 250K is thriving? And that is the minority of the sport....maybe 5%.

You did not answer my question. There was zero reference of anything to do with New York or New Jersey. But I’ll go a step further : Delaware, Ohio and Indiana all have very healthy purse structures where trainers can thrive

Delaware and Indiana purses are nothing special.
