Not sure what planet you live on to make a statement that you’re not thriving if you collect a quarter million dollars and have two children? There are many people who thrive on way less than that. I think you’re a little out of touch with reality.
You live in NY or NJ & think 250K is thriving? And that is the minority of the sport....maybe 5%.

Where in his post did he mention anything about New Jersey or New York?

Where do you think the so-called thriving trainers live?

You did not answer my question. There was zero reference of anything to do with New York or New Jersey. But I’ll go a step further : Delaware, Ohio and Indiana all have very healthy purse structures where trainers can thrive

People who come to horseplop and brag incessantly about the harness racing welfare money ngc3

Always spotlighting the good in racing despite it being notoriously bad ngc3

Not a f'ing chance!  ngc3

Those making money are making it and stfu  ngc3

Crossing their fingers they don't get popped too if they ain't crystal  ngc3

Most ain't crystal clean  ngc3

What you have is bottom feeders, antagonists, who have nothing - no moolah, no cash, broke broke lint ngc3

There is no one bragging who is wealthy, who is making money, even the narcissists and you all, Rocky, me know these people too ngc3

They ain't bragging....just one douche and his growing entourage, that if you follow P2's posts it lives in near poverty because what they wish for we throw in the trash!  ;D

Trainers make their money with a daily training bill. The 5% that they earn is not the basis of their income, not to mention the vast majority of trainers also own horses. They get purse money and their daily bill.

You're the only jealous b!tch.

You have no success and clap in everyone's face about every crook's  ngc3

Whatya think the psychology is here ngc3

You're an anonymous antagonist, Rocky is a real rich guy, horse owner, breeder and you can't stand him.

Why is that, he invests hand over fist for decades in this biz where you only praise crooks?

Because he is real and you talk about nonsense.

You're a beat up person every day of your life and you come here to try out this failed shtick  ngc3

That's the psychology 101

Stay an anonymous punk, f'ing coward  ngc3 anyone hangs with you is getting that rep  ngc3 time to make it on your own boys  ngc3

That there, Pacer 2, genuine ZERO - why he IGGY"S me, the truth does hurt, always has, always will!  ;D

Harness racing is only thriving because of handouts. If you take those away everyone would be racing for nothing. This is a charity not an industry at this point. In 1998 the handle for all of horse racing was 628 million and in 2024 it was under 90 million. Harness racing is thriving like refrigerators in trailer parks with ebt cards.

The many reasons Harness Racing is thriving is a completely different topic.  Agreement that it is thriving is easy to see.
