Mike isn't big on suggestions or opinions, so I'm confident this will go over like a lead balloon, but anyway!!If advocacy for the humane treatment of Standardbred horses is Mike's passion and purpose, his energy and investigative skill should be directed toward an intervention that will have the greatest positive outcome.Directing energy toward one trainer or one owner or one racing administration, will only result in change relative to the size of that players barn or that administrators reach. A very finite number of horses are safer or humanely handles.Why not go after an intervention that would result in 10's of 1000's of horses being disposed of in the most humane way possible after their racing value has finished. Today a majority of them end up in inhumane service industries or worse still, horrific end of life kill pens.Mike, go after a big piece of legislation that would require all Standardbred Horses to meet their end of life, either by natural causes on a retirement farm, (impossible to handle the numbers) or by humane, vet administered euthanasia. Whoever is on record, owning that animal at the time, is responsible for the cost. All comments welcome.

Mike, that's fantastic that you already have the connection.Did any discussions or statements on horse retirement, include the reality that retirement farms is probably unrealistic based on the sheer numbers, and that humane euthanasia is far more palatable than inhumane kill pens/slaughter?
Darnoldrocks means well. Just doesn't realize how much I've covered over the past few years. Two months ago a gentleman personally presented NYS Assemblywoman Carrie Woerner my bio and statement regarding horse racing in NYS and all the ugly truth to go.with it. Again, it's all on my Facebook group well documented. This is what Carrie leads...
I think that when it comes to horse racing, these people should have a iota of what a horse looks like. LOL! Otherwise, they are "empty suits" who can't address a problem they don't understand.
What's the difference Dougie, they have expereince to run a better scam.They have no integrity they're no good.Look at the state of things.Horses are getting drugged, they're cheating and the wrong doers are getting every fucking handout imaginable.Many Someones are getting a fat envelope.Retirement horses, they're savages these bastards.They are destroying them on the track they are going sacrifice purse money so they have a life off track.Talking is done, you have to become more evil to get things done until people wake up, educate and elect sober, intelligent people with stamina and inspiration.
