The "great divide" you speak to is certainly more real today than ever. I'd like to blame Trump or Obama or anyone else for this issue. But I think the way people gather information is the main culprit for the anger and the angst. Between social media memes and posts and bias cable news networks, it's difficult to decipher the truth in "real time". For many who study the news by glancing at Facebook or Twitter are really doing themselves a disservice.

There is very little surprise that the markets would respond big time once the Strait Of Hormuz was opened. It's all about the money. My family in Haifa are thrilled with the 10 day truce. But despite that, it is Joseph Aoun's legitimate government that must find a way to deal with Hezbollah. Or Israel will deal with them their way. I'm hoping Netanyahu can make a deal with Aoun that would "defang" Hezbollah. I despise war. I know that at times it has to happen. But news is positive on all fronts there as of now. So we can be thankful for that.
