It took a while for me to actually meet some of the other owners in the barn where I have been situated over the years before being in partnership with any of them. Distance is a factor among other things.

MR RAIN the racing game cares about numbers that are not real like handle from computer bettors or new owners that will all go broke and most will not reinvest and those are real number with the amount of new people that will pass on horror stories,     once again stupidos running horse racing and the end result is BAD

I watched two of his videos and he just talks about great moves and steals at the sales he found but truth is almost no winners and there has to be some pride in any business knowing the key is to make your investors money.   No one really enters a winners circle these days and bottom line is most owners know they will lose but if that was a 100 percent situation no one would buy a horse,,      Very few drivers or trainers buy horses when their journey has ended so there is not much love for the sport from ex horsemen and truth is the game has set up with trainers uping their bills with purse increases and vets are out of control with their bills,,,        One thing i am sure about is AMAC will not look to cut costs for the owner during bad times

Amac is a lot of things, humble and modest aren’t two of them, but I don’t think he’s a crook either. But…he does heavily promote a sport that MOST of us on here love. Just like in any other barn I’m in, I have had both success and failures in thestable. The two most recent I’ve bought into have done quite well though, Tallythetab and Bridgeoverbroadwa y, look them up.

For anyone watching the video you will see how little today's drivers can see directly ahead of them. It amazes me that there are not more accidents.
In the Billy Haughton/Stanley Dancer era all drivers sat upright so they could see what was going on with the horses ahead of them.
I was taught that your eyes told you what the horses and drivers ahead of were doing, your hands told you what your own horse was doing, and your ears told you what was going on behind you.
FYI
If you are sitting say 2nd or 3rd going up the back stretch. and a horse pulls out of say 7th and is coming up on the outside, you can hear him coming long before you can see him. Even with several horses directly behind you, you can pick out the sound of the horse coming fast on the outside.
