That will never happen, meaning a shutdown of the strait of Hormuz. China depends way to much on Iran's oil for that to happen, not to mention our naval presence there. Thank God we have a President that is willing to drill here. It's a prime example of why we need to be energy independent, and I mean all sources of energy including solar and wind. Iran won't dare mess with our military because they know what the repercussions would be. What I worry about is lone actors in our country committing terrorist acts. All of our major cities need to have their guard up, but unfortunately they are mostly run by idiots. I don't want to be involved in a war with Iran, if you remove their leadership, a power vacuum happens and one only needs to look at the Iraq War to see that is not good, although we don't hear anything about them anymore and we have multiple military bases there.What happened yesterday HAD to be done. Hopefully Iran comes to the negotiating table now.
