Most of Iran's oil go to China. The Strait of Hormuz will stay open. Iran would be committing economic suicide by closing the Strait. If we wanted to, we could knock out all Iranian oil production very easily. Iran knows this as well. Why haven't the USA or Israel taken out their oil.. simple answer. We don't want the Iranian people to suffer more then they already do and we do not want China to get involved in this conflict.
