In an obviously dying sport, here's a shining light of an example for the youngsters and aspiring young drivers.
Look at the sport's leading driver. Seems fitting to encourage everyone to raise a glass to Aaron this weekend. tmbz1

he once put about 19k into one slot machine.
he has money.

exactly put into a slot machine and the only reason it wasn't 20-21 was because 19k was all he had!

Too bad he didn't donate that to a standardbred adoption program for all of the horses that he's gutted over the years.

I get it Hay. It reminds me of the Nick Clegg thing..It's a free country.
Although it does speak to Aaron's  apparent recklessness. If it's true of these
threats and comments during this traffic stop, he's fucked. I won't shed a tear. 11.wp

My guess is he will be going away somewhere whether its jail for a short time or rehab of some sort.

If he goes to prison maybe he can reconnect with his old pal Seth fishman dvm. They go wayback.

Trust me, if  you blow a .186 and you are operating a motor vehicle. able to communicate verbally  with the cop and can walk upright, you have a serious drinking problem.
I blew a .20 one time after 12 hours of binge drinking. It was the last drink I ever had.
If this guy continues his lifestyle, it is highly likely there will be a major tragedy dead ahead.
I am not talking about pissing all over the next slot machine that takes him for $19K. I am referring to his life and the life of incent people.
Let's hope he recognizes he needs help. If he does not, the court is more likely to refer him to one of their programs.
If Northfield or the Meadows had any had any understanding of this behavior, they would insist he be active in a approved program as a contingency of allowing access to their properties.

It's amazing he has never failed a breathalyzer pre race testing.

Probably wasn’t at lit up as a few other drivers who taken a breathalyzer test before driving horses!

The Chris Beaver and Bill Rhoades of the world should tell him no more drives until he is sober.  Aaron isnt that good of a driver - I’m sure they can find someone else that is more than willing to front end one and pray they get home

Totally agree, and I believe .186 computes to over 9 drinks in an hour

Are there any decent Northfield drivers that can more out of a horse without being hard on them??

Is a breathalyzer test done at the time they pull you over or at the jail?
