Simple, the USTA area spineless and don't care about fairness or animal abuse.  The bottom line and lining their pockets is all they are worried about.  And the tracks that accept their entries are the exact same!  tmbz1

Shouldn't people on the list who purchased EPO be banned by the USTA from ever holding a trainers license??

Gural--banned them and Harrahs if you get an EPO positive--you are banned there for life.

Why should they be allowed to race elsewhere?? Asking for a friend.

Exactly, what other tracks can or will band these scumbags

Still would like to see the source this came from!
The Meadowlands Press Release.  It's even on Standardbred Canada

Thanks for breaking the news and sorry for doubting you. It's just such a poor example of something that Gural would or should have said about his ownership of horses and the cause of the delay in implementation of the ban.

Though I highly applaud the ban.

Regarding PA and DE, they may finally have their excuse to decouple racing and the casinos.

This could be the nail in the coffin the casinos need.

And if this isn’t enough there is more to come..

Now you know why the harness criminals are fighting against HISA being enacted, as there would be no doubt about an EPO positive. If you get one, HISA rules would revoke your license and maybe indict you for a controlled dangerous substance. As it stands now, most will probably wiggle their way into racing in another state.

Dylan Davis- had EPO detected..NO WAY!  ngc3 Hell hes been using that for years!

Kevin Lare- another one who's always been squeaky clean!  ngc3 Hès had more positives than can count. This time he takes down his boy Franke Chick! Not to mention his mom!

Art Stafford- Sooner or later feds are going to get you, sooner or later..You know the song sing along!  73cv.2

Eddie Dennis- This one a surprise. Had to be from Eric Goods horse. But most of the time a no factor.

Howard Taylor=Confused on this one like Frankie Chick. Why these owners and not all the owners on all positive horses?

Eddie Dennis had Hellabalou and a nice NY sire stakes horse not long ago.  Maybe this is why they were so fast!

Hellabalou   Is PA bred.
It’s very nice of Gural to let them race in the November stakes. Nothing like holding them accountable

Problem with that theory is Hellabalou is just as if not faster with Burke!

Or does that say the horse's routine never changed?

What’s the chances any track does anything with this information? If they don’t have USTA suspensions, it’s going to be Meadowlands/tioga only. Gural is literally the only one that gives a fuck.

I'm sure there are some tracks that have probably already called the people on the list and offered them a place to race.

  • dougie: No tournament play there. Two many young cowboys bullying us old guys. Just straight poker. A lot of fun, but you could get hurt if you don't know the players.

  • Trigger: When I refer to cash game I'm thinking non tourn or sit n go, casinos I've played in never let you play for cash only chips but technically a ring game is a cash game too.
    October 13, 2026, 08:34:13 PM
  • dougie: Private games are cash only. But the table uses chips to cause no confusion. Buy-in it $1G with 2 other buy in allowed. It is strictly Texas Holdem. Is is no limit but most of the players know each other. No kids playing. I'd say the average age was about 40. Food is included. Usually subs and pizza. Occasionally Chinese food.

  • JT: Is it no limit hold em I am assuming Dougie? tournament style, or cash game?
    October 13, 2026, 08:06:10 PM
  • dougie: We had 8 tables going and the 1G prize is every hour. Todays game is the third private game I ever played. I starting to enjoy private games.

  • Trigger: How many tables partake in the 1g prize and is it 30m or an hour?
