Lucien Fontaine was Carmine's buddy. He was outstanding as well. He looked like he was playing a fiddle with his whip.

It’s so funny how you remember Lucien using his whip like a fiddle, I always wanted to emulate that when I got my license but never had the balls to try .. 😂
Lucien was the man , although my family claimed our first horse off of him , not because we thought we could improve over Lucien but because his second trainer who was grooming the horse was so bad..we ended up
winning two in a row at Yonkers with him and Lucien claimed him back..But ur right , his fiddling style of the whip was pretty cool..
