THE QUESTION IS WHERE DOES THE INDUSTRY DGO FROM HERE?  DOES IT SURVIVE ?  IS OHIO THE HOTBED?  WILL THE BIG M BE THE SHOWCASE OR WILL IT BE IN OHIO OR INDIANA?   WHO WILL BE THE NEW PLAYERS?  CAN THIS SPORT SURVIVE?  ARE MORE ARREST COMING IN THE LATEST SCANDAL?

THIS IS AN INDUSTRY THAT HAD EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO NOT ONLY SURVIVE BUT TO THRIVE BUT YET IT FAILED IN USUNG THE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO FURTHER AND TO IMPROVE THE SPORT.   THIS MONEY BENEFITTED SO FEW.

THIS LATEST SCANDAL WILL TRULY BE REMEMBERED AS ON OF THE FINAL MAJOR NOTCHES IN THE INDUSTRY.  UNFORTUNATELY THIS IS NOT OVER AND THERE IS A SEAM OF NEW EVIDENCE THAT IS CURRENTLY UNDER INVESTIGATION.   I DO NOT KNOW THE INDIVIDUALS BUT THERE IS CONTINUING NEW INFORMATION.

THE SENTENCES HAVE BEEN VERY LIGHT FOR THE CRIME BUT THE JUDGE HAS FULL CONTROL OF THE SENTENCE EVEN THOUGH THE FEDERAL GUIDELINES CALLED FOR A 60 MONTH SENTENCE.  IT IS OBVIOUS THAT THE "FIRST STEP ACT" INFLUENCED THE FINAL SENTENCE.

I AGREE WITH THE INFORMATION REGARDING ADDITIONAL ARREST.   I ALSO BELEIVE THAT THERE ARE SEVERAL INFORMANTS.   NOT ONE OR TWO BUT SEVERAL.   I FURTHER BELIEVE THAT MORE ARRESTS WILL STILL COME.   THIS INVESTIGATION RUNS TOO DEEP TO TURN YOUR HEAD TO SO MUCH!

THE ONLY ISSUE I SEE IS THAT THE SENTENCE HANDED OUT WAS VERY VERY LIGHT FOR THE CRIME AND THE JUDGE SAID HE DID NOT WISH TO INCARCERATE A LONG PERIOD BUT WANTED THE INDUSTRY TO UNDERSTAND IF THEY USE PEDS THAT THEY WILL BE PROSECUTED AND SERVE TIME IN FEDERAL PRISION.

THE FIRST STEP ACT CALLS FOR THE USE OF HOME CONFINEMENT AND PROBATION WHERE POSSIBLE.   THE COST TODAY OF HOUSING INMATES IS IN EXCESS OF $50,000+ PER YEAR!!!!!  THAT ADDS UP QUICK.  FURTHER, THE JUDGES ALSO NOW UNDERSTAND THAT PRISON IS NOT THE REHAB FOR EVERYONE.   SOME NEED IT AND SOME DONT.   FURTHER, JUDGE RELIES ON THE PRE-SENTENCE REPORT THAT IS COMPLETED BEFORE SENTENCING.   THIS REPORT IS GIVEN TO THE JUDGE AND YOU WILL FIND IT FOLLOW THE (SUCESS OR FAILURE)RECOMMENDATIONS STATED ON THE REPORT.  THEREFORE, IT IS VITAL THAT THESE PEOPLE CAN PROFILE THOSE INVOLVED IN ORDER FOR THE JUDGE TO UNDERSTAND THE CASE AND THE PARTICIPANTS.  THERE IS A LOT OF WEIGHT PUT ON THE ACTIONS OF THE CHARGED.
