The 1.1m Mavarick in action today
« on: June 29, 2020, 02:08:22 PM »
I'm sure no hurry as a plan being duel eligible to KY like most of Tony's CT really never race on the smaller PA sire tracks forgoing the Pa SS.

Gaitway today a even mile finishing third in 1:58.3. Will this guy even see a race until he can go in 55 and compete first out? U pay a 1.0m there is only one goal become a stallion. Probably pointed careful to big tracks so time will tell if Maverick is the real deal.

Funny thing is there was no mention of his qualifier before or after in any press. And Tony usually can’t wait to be in the press. Looked pretty ordinary and get blown away by a $12k yearling.   If not much better shortly will be in Takter barn

anyone with a financial stake in the industry and living brain cells wants maverick and other high priced yearlings to  do well, that will keep  real money flowing into the industry when it will certainly need it

saying a 2 year old is a toss after 1 qualifier is one of the worst takes possible. so many different variables that not all handle in the same way from different hands behind them, potentially the first time seeing alot of other horses, first time shipping somewhere new, etc. takes some time for some to mentally "get it" no matter their talent level, and sadly, some never do

He shipped horse to M1 last 3 weeks to train then Q at farm. With no publicity. Trying to hide?  Breakfast with babies back at M1 , no spectators supposed to be at farm. Tony is a POS will put any of you out of business and never think twice
