Observations from a distance.. FREDERICK BOURGAULT: SUNNY BILLION
*Dec 2 incident not on track..had to be a 'backstretch beat'
by this character, apparently because horse shied from drive for home that night.
*the following weekend, 4 nights later at Flamboro, on the drop and with the rail..the horse Sunny Billion wins. -- followed by another win at same reduced level the following week..so incident, as mean as it no doubt was, didn't put horse out of commission..but the noted 'cruel act' may have 'inspired' him. (as sick as that sounds)

-- the cruelty, which occurred dec 2 at Western Fair wasn't adjudicated until TWO months later...why delay of that length?  Is it policy?? Is it waiting to see if horse has lasting effects? Is it poor commission policy?

**pls. note a one year probation added onto the 2 month suspension.

The Agco in Ontario must get whiplash from looking the other way, worse then PA agreed there. They give certain stables immunity from black box too

How many times have I said that AGCO is a fucking country club, they do absolutely 0 in policing the sport. One example comes to mind a few years back. The usual suspects (chemists) are winning all the races and here is Pat Hudon that can't pay his bills, has to drive which he can't because he can't afford a catch driver and he loads one up for a gambler who gave him the coin and wham bam he gets busted and suspended. Then AGCO has the nerve to blow their horn about how they will not tolerate cheating after the suspension. Yes I talk a lot about Pennsylvania but Ontario is no better maybe even worse.
