COLT PACE (race 10): Of all the weekend’s Sire Stakes Championships, this race will generate the most interest from serious students of the sulky sport, as it matches up two colts who are undefeated in their first five races: Shalom Hanover (trainer Dr. Ian Moore, driver Louis Roy), who set a track record 1:49.2 in his previous appearance here, and Starstruck Dreamer (there’s trainer Noel Daley again, with Andrew McCarthy’s brother Todd driving), who won three PaSS prelims and paced the fastest mile ever by a 2-year-old on a five-eighth mile track, 1:48.4 at Philly.

Should be a blazer as I am sure AMac will fire and not yield in this one.

If they had wagering for who finishes 8th, AM is 1-9

The fact He believes he can compete against grand circuit drivers shows he is either dumb as a box of rocks, or a complete narcissist.

Pocono had good racing and prices...their last stakes day. I'm hoping for the same tomorrow.
I have not bet much of late. The little I bet at Pocono went into the trash.

Interesting that Pennsylvania split up its big finals to 2 different days and 2 different tracks even. Ohio has 1 big super night with all sire stakes finals and they alternate between Scioto and Northfield. This year its at Scioto on Saturday 9/12
Also huge grand circuit races as well. Carl Milstein Memorial Pace for older horses always draws a nice field.

But no one shows up to actually watch it!

They've always rotated the finals among the 3 tracks. The Meadows has the Stallion Series Finals today.

Gotcha.. the buckeye stallion series finals I think are at Northfield in October.
That's one level below sire stakes.. it just seems odd to me that all the PASS finals are split between 2 tracks 2 different days.
