A solid drive by Roy. He stretched out his foe, had confidence to sit the pocket, and closed up the inside...for the win.

Think if the posts were reversed, the outcome would have been different.

Both great two year old.   Great trainers.   Great drivers.  Fun to watch.

"He's a vet".

He is a vet, but also a great trainer.  He's been training and driving horses for over 50 years.  He's a great all round horseman.

I didn't think Starstruck was eligible. I thought Steve Wienick said they were pointing toward the Red Mile. I'll go check the list of eligibles.

Shalom is on the list and Starstruck is not. Too bad. I am sure if Shalom goes to the Metro, then heads to Lexington for Bluegrass and the International, and then on to the Breeders Crown, some people will criticize Moore for over-racing him, being greedy, and/or being inept, LOL. Let's not forget, he's a vet. He's bald too. Overweight too, right? LOL.
