Food for thought:

There aren’t many other drivers there if a few get hurt in an accident.   Same 12-15 drivers there nightly at most.

I'm not positive, but I think Beckwith is still available for most of those big races if needed to step in.    ngc3

Looked to me like Dube was 100 percent out up the backside amd into the turn then as Jason started up the inside Dube was coming back down. Its an accident for a reason

Zeron is scheduled to drive my horse tomorrow on Hambo Day.  Fingers crossed but he came down hard on the right arm in an awkward position.

DRF HARNESS
BREAKING: According to driver Scott Zeron, he suffered a small fracture of his L2-L3 in an accident at Yonkers on Thursday and will need couple of weeks off. He won't require surgery but will miss Saturday's Hambletonian card at The Meadowlands Racetrack

Bummer.  Looks like Matt Kakaley would probably be next up for my horse as he drove him at Yonkers in his last start.  Todd McCarthy also available.

The Meadowlands race sec. says Bartlett texted he is being kept overnight. On Facebook says no broken bones and they will know more today.

Sucks for Scotty - tons of live drives this weekend and these are the races he thrives in.  Missing a few weeks is probably best case as the replay had me thinking separated shoulder, broken arm and maybe some hip/pelvis issues.

Really poor decisions from Dube and Bartlett.

I hope they both are alright. They both looked like they were drunk if you watch the replay. Scotty's horse was trying to run Bartlett over before it happened. Jason had his hand holds so far back he couldn't turn his horse to the left to avoid Dube. I really hope they both are ok and come back healthy. Maybe Jason didn't see Dube's horse maybe Scotty didn't see anything.

Any owners or trainers reaching out to Purple Jesus to drive horses tomorrow for Scotty Z and Jason if he can’t go?
