Weak!
This year’s on track handle will be mostly determined by the weather next Saturday. .
The sad, useless, and desperate for attention, Pacer 2, posts numbers from a year ago, desperately hoping anyone would believe his idiotic drivel. Let's break down the numbers, shall we? Off track handle, from a year ago, was $6,612,261. If memory serves, the host track sees about an average of 3-5 percent. IF you figure at 5%, the track received $330,613, which half goes to the purse account which would be $165,306.50. That means on their biggest handle day of the year, the tracks take was $165,306.50. The former Mecca is still LOSING MONEY. The dipshits keep spewing the garbage about how much the former Mecca handles. The fact is it's still hemorrhaging cash. Gural, and the whoresmen, desperately need a casino there, if the former Mecca is going to still be open. From what I've been reading, it ain't happening. This is why most whoresmen are packing up and headed for Kentucky. They see the writing on the wall. Handle means absolutely nothing, because no harness track makes a profit off of harness racing. Without handouts, harness racing will eventually contract. Sincerely, Silent One
the percentage is lower than 3-5%at least half of M1 handle is CAW--and they get a huge rebate-so in reality its much less than that
