How crooked was Goshen County Fair Racing
« on: July 21, 2026, 10:11:44 PM »
The races were cancelled before the box closed, 17 horses quickly entered the box with no intention of racing! The NYSS says they will still split the purses. Of course it's all the usual suspects Ray Schnittker, Taddeo, Crawford. 8 County Fairs have raced, not one of the 17 late entries have raced at a fair. Hmmmm.....

I can't imagine that you know a single thing about harness racing. You need to talk to Steve Jones who has made Goshen at first class facility.

We were racing at Goshen a few weeks ago the track was like a pool table impeccable! Ray and I are good friends we go back a long way he's as honest as they come dummy.

This is gotta be one of the dumbest fucking post I've ever read if you know anything about Steve you know he does everything first class.

I heard from a very reliable source that they have ice on the track in the Winter and expect you to jog on it.

How can this be?

Well then ask Ray, if he's as honest as you say he will tell you that it was posted online that the races were canceled well in advance of the box closing.

Maybe people here should ask trainers/drivers how the track really was over the 4th of July weekend?  Real answers would be better than speculation!!

Please inform us as to how you know what time the horses were entered. Goshen is a fair track and many local trainers use the races as a qualifier

Many of the races were for 2 year old NYSS county fair races with an approximate purse of $ 3500.  You don't need a qualifier under your belt to race one and it's basically a paid qualifier if you get a check.
