KENTUCKY IS THE PLACE TO BE NOW AND IN THE FUTURE

Kentucky will be the "new Meadowlands" in a few years. The harness industry is booming in that state. The big owners and breeders are building new farms. Drivers are even buying homes there. You have very sharp people owning/running the Red Mile. Sire Stakes is an amazing program. Purses are huge.  Other harness tracks in the state have conditions for all types of horses. Barn helps make more there than in other states.  It's the place to race now and in the future.

It's the place to be right now, never mind the future. Unfortunately there will. be me and about fifty other people taking in the action today so hopefully they will use some of the money and put it in the hands of capable marketing firms.

Kentucky will go as far at their State Commission allows.  We need a commission that stands lock step with the animal.  There needs to be consequences for nefarious activity.  I would love to see Kentucky take the lead for Harness Racing.  For me, the state Commision for Ohio, New York and New Jersey has been a travesty! We can talk about the money for the stake races in Ohio….blah , blah, blah. But a ton of questionable activity by so called horsemen and horsewomen!!!!
