Beau jangles was the sacrifice being first over.  Brandon Blvd followed him and mamba followed both of them!  Actually the followers here followed the horses they wanted to follow!  The 1 horse threw a monkey wrench as he didn't let beau clear!  No excuse for Brandon blvd.  Perfect 2nd over trip and got beat by mamba in the 9 path at the wire!

Quite frankly I wasnt impressed with anybody at Woodbine tonight besides Mamba and Brandon


most impressive performance of the night and also of the season the fastest of the season was just turned in by Voukefalas at the Meadowlands from the 10 hole in 1:47.1 doing all the work with 53.3 front and back and half and digging in with grit in the stretch with a 26.2 kicker. Great to see this guy get over $1 million and i know people were writing him off as a ffa but he can definitely get his share...maybe the switch to Boyd over Stratton was the difference maker..even after last weeks goof by Boyd

Beau got 'jangles' looking head to head with another horse and no leisurely uncontested trip tonight. He is NO Niatross for sure and will lose more races this year against this calibre of horses, ESPECIALLY if he draws outside them. He won't go near a half mile track that is for sure and will NOT be a lock for the Meadowlands Pace any longer either, in fact might not even be the sole favorite next month. He showed his toughness is now in question if things do not go his way. His head was moving slightly to the right as well during the race.

I always get a chuckle from guys who couldn't make a face like a horse. I agree with you Mike, something was not right and bobby knew it the moment he pulled him. I thought bobby drove him unbelievably well to get him sorted and into the final where I suspect he will be much better. Kudos to the horse that won as he stepped up and looked real good. I still think james pciks the legacy horse and trips out and wins the final if Beau can't be fixed in a week. If he can Bobby will quarter pole and win with james coming hard at the end.
