my interpretation from the article is that his casino dreams wont even make it to the referendum

in August , the NJ legislators will decide if the referendum will be on the November ballot --and they need 2 out of 3 lawmakers to approve that it goes to November--and if it somehow it does--then he would need 2 out of 3 NJ voters to pass

most likely in August, when it is decided that there will be no referendum, Gural will most likely announce that this is his last year running M1

as far as selling M1--he doesn't own it.... he leases it from the state

He's very fan friendly.  The staff at the restaurant said go up to him and say hello and I did when I was at Tioga on EBC day in August 2025.  He is very astute and knows what is going on in the business.  He actually asked me a question upon saying hello to meet him and caught me off guard!  At least he cares about the business, unlike the other entities who own racetracks.
