haha good one beard
actually given the reputation in harness racing and his family ties it is guilty until proven other wise
not saying it can never happen but odd a young horse would die from that while simply training

Ok but what is the deal with the 3yo who died on the track at gaitway?  Isn’t it strange that a 3yo would die from pulmonary embolism?  And what about the folks that allegedly saw him mistreating that horse?

I am not a fan of JB (either of them) but horses absolutely do drop dead due to PE at all ages. I know personally of a weanling, several yearlings, all of which were just standing around in fields eating/growing, and plenty of others of various competition ages (and sports, for that matter). None of my own, thankfully.  But it certainly can happen.

It's a long way until you Trumpopotamus sheep learn that life is complex, and you have to at some point think for yourself...deal with those complexities one at a fucking time, I know a horrible word for a simple mind  ngc3

Go get facts!, until then (never  ngc3) talk shit, that's your speed  ngc3

Joe is a very talented driver. His stats speak for themselves. I would use him over many if not all of the so called top guys, always tries to give his drives a chance. Aggressive, yea, isn’t this horse racing?
Barn does well also. How could he have so many head in his care year after year unless his efforts are paying dividends.
What’s with those that want to see this young man fail so bad?
I don’t get it.  Give him a brake..

Ignorance you are a sigh of relief amongst this angry mob. Whatever happened to innocent until proven guilty

This wasn't even that. I learned my lesson a few years ago to seek fact before reacting. Now I just go to the source. So far I've seen a video of him not beating the horse as reported by others who weren't even there. Then say the horse he scratched on Saturday was the horse that died the Saturday before. Same horse who raced that same Saturday night! But they said trained three trips.that afternoon.  ngc3 And then apparently he dropped a dead horse in the box to scratch it. These people are INSANE. Even Crazy Eddie would say damn, they're insane.  ngc3

Joe takes alot of heat because his dad screwed alot of people out of alot of money 💰.    Joe’s had alot of success , he should be judged on his actions not somebody else’s

The father is in the paddock, in colors, all time time with "Joe's trainees"
If joe wants ro be judged differently, maybe he should tell the dad to stay home?

lets not forget when the sister was a "trainer"

another example of how pathetic the industry is at policing itself and protecting the gamblers and horses
chris oakes  is another example

So why isn't anyone marching up to Settlelmoir and asking why Gural and Cote allow it? Like the guy who Jeff said wouldn't be allowed to race at his tracks after December 31st if he didn't get his suspension "reversed" by then? How's that working out and didn't Jeff even contact the NJRC to have his days lowered to 90? Good luck.

To be fair, I think everyone has learned at this point that cote gural and settlemoir do whatever they want you get very far by questions those questions.

Judge Joe on his and only his performance and worthiness as a human being. He’s not his father nor should he be judged by his father’s reputation. Same with sister, I’m sure she did most of the bookkeeping, entering of stock etc. why does she have to be in the sulky everyday? 99% of flats trainers wouldn’t know how to sit on a horse no less ride one.
As far as father in the paddock, would any of you tell your dads that they are not welcome to help you at or to be seen with you, give me a break pls. It’s his dad and I’m sure he never meant to hurt his family, others but not his family. Family is the reason that most men take risks or make poor decisions because we try to give our kids and wives the best life possible.
Give Joe a break, he is too often judged unfairly.
Joe if you read this forum, go get em young man. Don’t let the haters win.
