Sulky Wheels
« on: April 05, 2026, 06:28:36 AM »
It would appear that Bartlett and Dunn are running with FMT-2 Wheels, while others are still using the older FMT and some seem to prefer Nitro, although it seems like the FMT-2 work well for their users?? Any thoughts..

Sort of like in late 1975 when you had to pick out who was using the modified sulky in the early days after Butch Dokey started with it..Was a handicapping windfall, but didn't last long, as by Spring of 1976 virtually everyone was using it.

Actually they are using LZR wheels.  They use the lzr 5 with holes and or now a few guys have the lzr 3s.  Some still use the lzr 5s original no holes

What does all this equipment cost? Gotta be high, though I imagine if it conveys an advantage, they more than pay for themselves.
