Hambletonian 2027 ?

Any word on the Hambletonian vote today ? Is it staying at the Mlands, going back to the cornfields or north of the Border?

You have to have significant financial support to host it for starters. Illinois has little to none so Du Quoin
is not an option. A mile track seems to be a must for most. The Red Mile seems to be the logical alternative.
Plenty of $$$ flowing thru Ky. Attendance wouldn't be great but M[1] not drawing near what they used to either.
Bottom line: Does it really matter? Just another race on the calendar. Lost its luster when it went away from
two heating.
