LOL @ the USA.

Other than their goalie, the whole team reminded me of the heavyweight boxer who got knocked to the ground and spent the whole fight just hanging on for dear life to his superior opponents legs and ankles.

The men and women seemed fine on the podium when BOTH teams received their Gold Medals. Stay in Canada, loser.

realistically both the  USA woman and the USA  men could have easily lost
i thought the USA woman deserved to win
i thought the USA men deserved to lose
but the puck bounces in odd ways sometimes

At least we have Beau Jangles!  That being said, both the men's and women's games were great, a lot of fun to watch. Could have went either way.

I agree with all of this

before the gold medal game--USA women outscored their opponents 31-1....having said that they needed to pull the goalie to tie the game. Credit to Canada women for getting the 1-0 lead then trying the old NJ Devils "sit on the lead" tactic--it was their only real shot at winning and it almost worked to perfection.

Hats off to USA women--the tying goal was a hard, low bouncing shot that had a good chance at being deflected, it was, it went in and they were the best team. The best team doesn't always win, the 1/5 shots don't always win.

The betting line in the mens game was Canada -125..USA +105..so it wasn't like it was a huge upset. The Canadian men completely dominated the 3rd period and should have scored several times.

The hockey by far was the best of this Olympics.

3 on 3 in OT?

Not a fan.

Ok for Qualifying rounds but the Quaters, Semis and Final should be 5 on 5.
