This is immediate criminal charges in addition to their current regulatory, USTA, AGCO and HISA that yawwwwn zzzzzzz.

Why not start making calls.

Why haven't these regulatory already done this.

Laws and statutes are on the books - state, federal here in the US and with Canadian Providences.

For these EXACT examples.

Many of these trainers implied guilt if not plead guilty to their regulatory.

Send these twats to jail right now in fucking droves.

____________

US federal

Illegally drugging horses is considered animal abuse and can violate federal statutes, particularly when it involves inhumane treatment, illegal substances, or soring to enhance performance
. The Horse Protection Act (HPA) (1970) and the Preventing Animal Cruelty and Torture (PACT) Act (2019) are key federal laws used to prosecute such acts, which can lead to fines and imprisonment.
Key federal and related regulations regarding horse drugging include:

Horse Protection Act (HPA): Makes the "soring" of horses (using drugs, blistering agents, or devices to cause pain for a competitive advantage) a criminal offense.
PACT Act: A federal law prohibiting intentional, serious harm to living animals, which covers severe abuse.

While many states have specific felony laws against animal cruelty, the federal acts allow for federal prosecution of these practice.

___________

Canada

Federal Legislation (Criminal Code)
The Criminal Code of Canada includes provisions that make it a crime to intentionally harm animals. Specifically, Section 445.1(1)(a) makes it an offence to "wilfully cause, or permit to be caused, unnecessary pain, suffering, or injury to an animal or bird". Illegally drugging a horse in a manner that causes pain, suffering, or injury would fall under this provision. Convictions can lead to severe penalties, including imprisonment and a potential lifetime ban on animal ownership.
Provincial Legislation
Provinces and territories also have their own animal protection legislation and regulations that overlap with the Criminal Code. These acts empower provincial authorities and organizations (such as the Ontario SPCA in Ontario, or the BC SPCA in British Columbia) to investigate and prosecute animal cruelty.

While Triggers sentiments towards cheaters and crooks might be harsh, he's not wrong about harness racing. To many trainers, drivers, and owners have screwed the public for many years. I'm not sure who's honest and who's not, but the sport has reeked of "bad actors" for many years. But the USTA, the governing body regulating our sport has been impotent at best at doing their job. No matter how you slice it, harness racing is creating very few fans and it's reputation for corruption has destroyed it's credibility.

If this were to happen then we would see an onslaught of paper trainers like never before. However I think that it would be just what this business needs for long term survival!!

Could not have a better comment than this one,,,,,DEAD ON,,,,,, PACINO would say i would take a FLAME-THROWER to these tracks if he was part of the scene,,      The problem never has been the trainers or drivers and always been management who let these animals run the circus,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, When i was a kid PATRICK BIANCONE was the worlds best trainer and his horse one year ALL ALONG was so good that he would be wrapped up at the head of the stretch in group one races and he tested positive in france and never allowed back and then for years he dominated HONG KONG and one positive and barred for life and today he is real old but still trains in the US the only place that will let him earn a dishonest living.

Technically, it's also race fixing.  You are shaping the outcome of a wagered on sporting event by illegal means.  No one is ever charged and bettors take it in the ass!

They'd have to build a prison just for that  ngc3

Instead of a chain gang work / punishment the guards chase these inmates around a track whipping the shit out of them until they go lame  ngc3
