Frankensteining A Turkey!
« on: Today at 11:15:15 AM »
Even if you can get the breast juicy it ain't staying that way the next day.  That sucker is drying out.  But ahhh there is a solution  tmbz1

Spray a pan, drop a half stick of unsalted sweet cream butter, as it melts throw in some chopped up Vidalia onions (sweet) and also chopped Portabello mushrooms in.  Not too small they shrink.

Then chop up bite size pieces of that dried out turkey after 5 minutes, toss it in.  In 10 minutes it's done and you can toss in some shredded Gruyere cheese.  The juices from the veggies and butter are now infused in your desert dry bird.  Tastes good on a sandwich or with creamy mashed potatoes.

Not a big fan of turkey, but will make it for the the guests.

My homemade menu for Thanksgiving:

Pinot Grigio Wine

Salad of / Vine Tomatoes, Butter Lettuce, Prosciutto, Fresh Mozzarella, Kalamata Olives - Olive Oil, Balsamic and Lemon

Garlic and Italian Parsley Bread

Sweet Mashed Potatoes
Crab Cakes
Stuffing with Glazed Pecans

Braciole
Griot (Caribbean)
The Bird

Chocolate Ganache Cake

What's on your menu?   ;D

Sounds good have fun. I like how my turkey sandwich tastes the next day. The tenderloin portin of the bird breast is very good.

We eat turkey about 2-3x a month. It's a healthy choice.

I don't make stuffing slop.  ngc3

I make cornbread, I saute up garlic, vidalia onions, portobello shrooms and throw in glazed pecans at the end.  A stick of melted butter, mix it up, BOOM BAM!

Roasted deli sliced honey sure, but that's not THE BIRD...I'm not a fan either, ya know guests, and now cats, got 4 of them showing up every morning, was 2 but a new tenant... ngc3

Have fun too!  tmbz1

I invited the tenants and neighbors.  One neighbor is an organic vegan, she'll be bringing her own "stuff".

Friday and Sunday is the fuck buddies.  That menu is Sex and Sushi  ngc3

If your remember, let us know if the in-law(s) say "remember when"....I think it's a lock!   ;D

Since you think one of us is multiple people here, just send 1 invitation for 10/13/26, but set servings for another twelve  ngc3

I don't think LUCPARK is feeling too well.

He mentioned not being well in the stomach area the other day.

Hope you get well Boss!   tmbz1
