Some of the things Mamdani promises are regulated by things beyond his control.
The free bus rides for instance, the NYC transit authority governs NYC buses. The NY state governor has a lot of control of that situation, it's unlikely the NYC transit authority and the governor will approve free bus rides.
If you examine Mamdani's promises you will see most of them are hollow and face stiff opposition.
He sure has the sheep heading to the polls foaming at the mouth though.
