None of those horses of Teague’s were bred real well - all kind of off breeding.  Lather Up also has had to compete with DownByTheSeaSide in Ohio so not like he was going to top tier mares.

Exactly. Keep in mind, also, Teague did not spend big money on horses. Most were gelded. Several homebreds with recognizable bloodlines but not fashionable. Rainbow Blue went on to be quite a nice broodmare.

when it comes to DUDS AT STUD, that title belongs to NIGHT PRO. Hasn't sired anything a racehorse trainer would be interested in.

No one can be surprised by Night Pro being a complete failure as a sire!

Does Geo Teague still have horses with Geo Forman the boxer?
I am just an old horse trainer still going around in circles. Sometimes Fast. Sometimes Half-Fast.

The greatest thoroughbred Secretariat was a dud at stud also. It happens. And doubt he was on banned substances.

I always heard the biggest dud at stud was Dwayne from Ohio.

George is FRUGAL but not cheap…..  If he hits on a good one great but if not he lives his life.  Little or no pressure.
Some trainers, drivers and owners don’t want to run with the big dogs.

The greatest thoroughbred Secretariat was a dud at stud also. It happens. And doubt he was on banned substances.

Here are some of Secretariat's most accomplished winners:

Lady's Secret : Perhaps Secretariat's most successful offspring, Lady's Secret was a champion filly who won multiple graded stakes races, including the Breeders' Cup Distaff. She was also named Horse of the Year and Champion Older Mare in 1987, and was inducted into the U.S. Racing Hall of Fame in 1992.
Risen Star : He won the Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes in 1988 and was named champion three-year-old male. Many believe he could have also won the Kentucky Derby if he hadn't been taken so wide during the race.
Kingston Rule : This Australian-bred son of Secretariat holds the record for the Melbourne Cup, one of Australia's most prestigious races.
General Assembly : Won several graded stakes races, including the G1 Travers, where he set a track record.
Tinners Way : A versatile runner who won the Pacific Classic twice and competed successfully in both Europe and the U.S.
Pancho Villa : Won several G2 races and set a track record at Hollywood Park.
Terlingua : Won multiple stakes races and is best known as the dam of the highly influential sire Storm Cat.
Weekend Surprise : A graded stakes winner, she is most notable as the dam of four graded stakes winners, including Preakness winner Summer Squall and Hall of Fame inductee A.P. Indy.

None of Secretariat's offspring achieved the same level of success or iconic status as he did on the track. Limited Direct Progeny Success: He had a few successes but was widely considered disappointing. A better broodmare sire than racehorse sire.
