Sippinonsearoc was in a $20,000 open pace at Scioto on 6/28/25, not an Ohio Sires Stakes, which goes for much more.

It was May 24th and a Buckeye Stallion Series race which go for $20k and is intended for horses that are not good enough for the Ohio Sire Stakes.  It is the equivalent of the NY Excelsior, Ontario Grassroots or PA Stallion Series.  In fact Burke won 2 other Stallion Series races that day with Swingtown and Harrisburg Heist.  Just a guy doing all he can for the sport.

When be raced Sippininsearoc in the BSS he entered him with the intention to win the race.  My issue is with trainers who enter their horses in a race where winning is not the no 1 priority. 


A few years ago for example when Test of Faith was a monster they raced her in an open mates race one day at Pocono.  Miller sat 5th or 6th.  Moved her on the final turn , paced a final quarter in 25 flat and finished 4th and burned the public’s wallets at 1/9.  The next week she won the Graduate final by open lenghts. 

Miller should have got the rest of the year off.  So should the trainer and the horse.

Get the easy win, placing once you commit, but this Gingras commit, when he's way up when he's feeling it and it's working out!

He's a fucking scumbag with a well oiled plan worked out with Burke i.e. hey it's not working but you can grab 2nd, 3rd, 4th from 5th with some urging to get a another 2/5 second even if you can do it, don't bother.  Hidalgo at Vagina last night was a perfect example.  Ran the same time as the BigM previous win which took little to no urging, yesterday no effort to get a better placing which the horse surely had.

Orders from Burke / Gingras is his assassin, strong ride to abort even if you have some horse for a better placing, don't push too hard!

You watch that 9th at Vagina last night, the abort was decided when Emoticon pulled from behind him to go uncovered, Gingras tipped out and went in and aborted, then closed with fastest closing time of any horse.

A very nice thought, but he's a caver.  He caved to the drug clown trainer list in the federal criminal investigation, he'll stand up initially but then whatever brings in the biggest handle, and CAW!
