A friend of mine CC'd me in an email written to Jason Settlemoir and Jeff Gural about the MADC and a few issues he was privy to. He did actually receive a response from Settlemoir tellling him all questions should be sent to either Joe Lee or David Glasser. Now are we talking the same David Glasser the gentleman was asking Settlemoir about and his involvement in taking MADC entries, writing the conditions and seeding the races? The real question being first, how is someone who isn't an official handling pari mutuel races. Secondly this was the person Settlemoir would not allow to run for an MADC position when they last had an election for President and VP positions. Is the NJRC aware of all this? Can anyone walk in a race office and start putting together pari mutuel races??? BTW, the same guy who last year changed a condition so a horse he owned would fit?!? Also, where can one find information on this organization called MADC? Where are their by laws??? Where are their requirements for entry and participation which should all be available to both those in the industry and most of all THE PUBLIC? Where is the contact info stating, got a question...call GLASSER! Are the rest of the paying members aware of all this? Do they have any say in who runs the show??? Did Joe Lee, Jim Slendorn and Mike Kimelman just hand over the keys to Glasser? Is there any structure to how and who is "elected" to this non existent position Glasser holds? And if there is, where can it be viewed? What and how is MADC authority delegated, and by whom??? So I would also ask the same first, Jason Settlemoir who arranged all this. Anyone can have access to the race office? Anyone without the proper licensing can include races on a Meadowlands condition sheet? Anyone can take those entries and split them into the divisions at their own discretion WHILE ALSO COMPETING IN THEM?
I would hope you can all see where I'm going here. Allegedly the MADC was created to eliminate what they wrongfully accused others of, instead it's WORSE!!! Asking for a whole bunch of concerned MADC members and horsemen in general.
