Bob Glazer (Peter Pan Stables)
« on: April 15, 2025, 09:53:07 AM »
What ever happened to Bob and his mom?

They were claiming horses like crazy at the Meadowlands back in the 80s and 90s.

I thought he was a bit of a freak then when I met him and his mom they couldn’t have been nicer.

No one has heard from Bob in yrs.  His mother passed away a long time ago.  Rumor was Bob was very sick and lived in his house as a recluse from the world and has no communication with anyone.  He was good for the sport as he was a character.

Yes his father was Mr/ Coffee and I have never heard and highly doubt Bob owed anyone anything.  He was very sharp with money and was no dummy.   I believe he was a Wharton graduate.  I don't know of anyone who has anything bad to say about Bob.

Bob was a Wharton grad you are correct.  His father was the inventor of Mr. Coffee claimed having Joe Dimaggio endorsing it was the reason for the success.  He owned a lot of horses and is the reason Brett Pelling left the USA for the time he was gone.  He sued him for devaluing The Panderosa and was crippling Pelling in Legal fees so he left until the statue of limitations run out.

I had heard similar stories to that.  I heard Pelling raced him on synthetic morphine or toradal with a cracked knee.  Bob found out and went off his rocker and sued Pelling.  Pelling has always pushed the envelope and skirted testing so it's not unbelievable to see this.  Go test all his babies right now and you will be shocked what you find in their system.  Everyone knows his babies are trained down on very high powered supplements then he jerks them off around May and then they have to recover before qualifiers.

Brett introduced America to a box of baking soda and a pound of confectionery sugar. He looked like a genius, but he’s not about a chemist.

Everybody knows this.  Except for Brett and all his help.

Bob was always slow pay and trunks were on wheels looking for the next “hot trainer”. As far as the lawsuit that cost Pelling to go home. Please fist the court records they are public information. If you really know a fucking thing

I believe Pelling was told to go away or be exposed. Jimmy Takter & Mickey Burke the same.

Ok so who told them to go away? I’m curious who you think has enough power in the industry to convince people to go away

That's an interesting story. So where was this lawsuit filed? I'd like to look that one up.
