For some reason people want to relive the past and think he can regain the magic he once had. It's been obvious the past couple of years driving in Maine, against mediocre drivers at best, that the magic is no longer there, and he's not an upgrade from most drivers.

That is or was his edge. He was able to drive high as kite with little if any of the emotions or feelings mortal humans have.

Only a moron would believe that Walter can (in the current day) become what he used to be. Please. Even Walter doesn't think that. He wouldn't think it. The thought wouldn't even exist in his mind. Repeating BS like this is simply justification for criticism and hatred.

He'll never be what he was, no one is when they age,  but he will make a far better living racing at Plainridge on their 3 days a week. Maine races on his off days so he'll drive 5 days a week. In the summer, 6 or 7 days a week. He won't get the top trainer picks, but he will get his share. From what I have seen so far, he should hold his own.

And Dock Ellis threw a no-hitter that way too!

Your point is?

Locked in with pace, you're right. He's not the same person he was 40 years ago. Who is? But Walter will make better money at Plainridge than the sad Maine racing schedule.

Correct!  And he is another option that trainers/owner have compared to who else is available to drive.  I'd like to have this option, if I can't get a top driver(s) to sit behind my horse.

1-win yesterday and his 5% was about $ 250!

The point is jerkoff, he is supposedly off of drugs. How about shutting the fuck up for once in your pathetic life.

Let's hope he is off drugs!  He will have a better life because of it if this is true!

FYI, take a good long mirror at yourself as who is the real "JERKOFF" is 'KARL', OOPS I mean MIKE!

Why do I have to 'LISTEN' to a "BULLY" and a 'JERKOFF' like you?

How are you going to make me "SHUT UP"?  Please tell myself and horseplop how you are going to do this "TOUGHGUY"!

Better yet, why don't you "SHUT THE FUCK UP"!  All we see is your "MOUTH" here.  If you leave horseplop, it will be a better place for 1 and all!

FYI, you're not going to "BULLY" me here!  What are you going to do about it?

I work 2 jobs for a living, own pieces of horses, and other interests!

Watching racing on twin spires now!  P.S., I have more than 20 cents in my account too!

What do you have going in life?

WHINING/CRYING on horseplop!--what a life!

Please worry about yourself before critiquing others and especially what you don't know any of the facts behind people and their lives!

Anything else?

Walter Case, in his prime, was a very talented driver. He was a great driver. If you don't think so, so be it, as you are entitled to be a fool. You are also entitled to be an even bigger fool if you think he accomplished what he did, performed how he did, and so on.....because he was on drugs ALL THE TIME. He didn't win ALL his races while he was on drugs. He passed drug tests, more than once actually. It is simply a fact.

Now, you can debate all you want how often he was on drugs, how many races he won while on drugs, and so on and so on. Go right ahead. I never stand in the way of stupidity.

Today, from what I gather, Walter is clean and sober from drugs. He admits that he drinks. I am sure with that knowledge many people here will say he's a drunk, an alcoholic, has a drinking problem, and wins all his races because he's drunk. Have at it.

The only FACT in your long winded entry is that Case was a drug addict. Everything else is your opinion which I have found to be worthless.
