Horses don't have a choice and in the end most are tossed ending up in kill pens. They're nothing more than the vehicle used to profit. And that's a fact.

You used the word "most" but provide no proof so it is false.

Good question. Pro-rata? Maybe "professional" wrestling? Probably not when you count both equine and human athletes, but I don't think that would be a fair comparison.

Both t-breds and s-breds are a very dangerous sport. What do they say, the only sport where an ambulance follows you around? Between equine and human athletes in both sports, deaths and career ending injuries, the numbers simply aren't good.

How many standardbreds die from racing?

How many standardbreds die from racing?

Never said that, you have ADD? But if you really wanna mince words....ALL OF THEM. Since that is what they're manufactured to do. How many don't make it? How many break down? Do they find homes? Why does SRF have 350 on the books at any given time? Why do they euthanize so many at the end of each year? How many thousands go through kill pens? Why are there hundreds each month posted on social media in kill pens ready for shipment to slaughter? You already lost the argument and missed the actual point trying to distract yourself from reality. Then you have the ones that end up with the Amish and the ones I find pulling carriages. So yeah, your industry does a "wonderful" job of using them then tossing them. FACT  tmbz1
Now the question is, just how far do I want to go with this???

You heard it here everyone. I just want to memorialize it before it's edited. "Most."

"Most"---definition:
greatest in amount, quantity, or degree; nearly all, almost all, the majority, the preponderance, to the greatest extent.

OK, OK, so, let's not even go there, and just say "most" means majority. Is that 51%? 66%? 75? 90? Most.

Most = THOUSANDS of Standardbreds trashed when the "industry" is done with them. Thanks for agreeing!!!!

I'm sorry. Harness racing does benefit two other industries. Kill pens and slaughterhouses outside the US.  tmbz1

Remember, even Mark Ford offered a service to rid yourselves of those pesky Standardbreds that weren't making any money. Scumbags. https://youtu.be/vnqUC1ZCbow

 Mr Revolution
what is your answer to deal with horses at the end of their racing career whenever that is
these horses are bred with one purpose, to be race horses
i know a lot of people work hard to give them homes after they are done racing
by the way you think the NFL does right by players, all kinds of the old players die early , a lot with cte, some kill themselves
it appears your answer is to eliminate harness racing ?
i guess you also feel the NFL should be shut down as well

Wow, perfect. I am SO glad you asked. Well since your industry has no real aftercare for ALL in not even closer to ALL of them. Take away the free money supporting the dead industry and slow the BREEDING to a crawl!!! Thanks for playing!!!!
