I've been amused the last few days by all the whiney posts asking if everyone was happy with their 401K crashing, as if one week of market results proved that Trump's tariffs were a failure.

Anyone with a modicum of intelligence knows better than to use the DJIA as a measure of any policy's success or failure, but you leftists glommed onto it because that's all you had.

Since you established the market decline as a measure of failure, will you, IF the market continues upward over the next few months, be consistent and say that Trump's tariff policy was a success?

I’ve been reading and occasionally posting on this and the political forums.  I’m not a fan of Trump, but I’m more of a middle ground person.  I’m definitely not a liberal, and I agree with some of Trump’s policies, and disagree with others.
What amazes me is that nobody on here can be objective.  You’re either 100% with him or 100% against him, making for constant back and forth propaganda.  I think it would be a lot healthier and constructive if posters could at least have a little objectivity here:  say what you like but also what you don’t like about him or his politics.
