Dean Eckley
« on: March 15, 2025, 05:31:51 PM »
Noticed Dean Eckley was back as trainer of a few at Pocono today. His suspension was supposed to run until November, and I don't see any reduction of it on appeal.

Yeah, both were no good. Pocono allows Dowse to race there, so nothing surprises me. Got a lot of joy seeing Lyons surfing come up short.

Status as of 3/3/2025 - Subsequent Ruling - RULING# 25002C Upon further
investigation and scientific analysis, the Commission hereby concludes that a horse
identification error occurred during the Out-of-Competition testing of the horse
“ANGELO” on August 21, 2024, at Mr. Eckley’s stables. As a result of the error, the
Commission hereby fully rescinds Ruling No. 24100CD previously issued by the
Board of Judges on November 13, 2024, which imposed a full 360-day suspension
and fine of $10,000. Furthermore, pursuant to this rescission ruling, all previously
paid fines, if any, and the appeal bond ($750) shall be returned to Mr. Eckley.

Eckley should sue them for lost income for the past 4 months.
