If anyone hasn't filled up their car with fuel, and gone grocery shopping lately, you might want to do it sooner than later!  Don't forget what the prices are today--Saturday February 1, 2024 and how they will be between the added tariffs on quite a few products that everyone uses everyday!  Maybe we should all post prices on horseplop and the area of the country we live in (Canada too) so that everyone else can see this and make their own judgments accordingly!

We subsidize agriculture so much, last trade war Trump gave soybean farmers 7.3 billion dollars (or as harness racing critics here call it welfare). The only one who will be even this out will be suckers like you who will paying more for beef and lumber.   No tariffs on eggs I see but the price has gone up to an all time high under Trump who promised they would be cut on day 1. You know just the Ukraine war would be over before he took office.  But i say lets have the tariffs and see how great they work…if they do great , if they don’t which is the likely scenario then Trump voters who are non cult members will maybe come back to their senses.

Egg prices are skyrocketing because Bird Flu is ravaging farms across North America. Given the FACT Trump and Project 2025 are dismantling the CDC, NIH, and other governmental agencies most people are in the dark as to why the shelves are empty.

I know that the egg prices arent his fault. Bit he campaigned on day 1 they would be lower. You know the price of gas going ip under Biden wasnt his fault either but he got blamed everyday, just like he did the price of eggs. Ps can somehow tell me why Musk has government employee records. If yes, hopefully there are clear expectations made, they are immediately put in place and these tariffs can end as quickly as they started.
