clearly they did not test karl before announcing and finalizing stud deal
would be very rare if the horse was deemed fertile at that time and then infertile 6-8 weeks later
dont see iit
They should have done their due diligence…personally I like to test a studs semen several times through the year.

On the subject of Karl. I'm sure they tested him before announcing him going to stud or at least that's how it normally works. Maybe they didn't if so, that was a big mistake on DCF part. Big owners like to change barns if they aren't getting what they want. I have seen owners take winning horses because they wanted to race the horse over its head & the trainer said no!!

Dr. J didn't test Captain Albano!

Her vet bills are equal to or more then her training bills. She lost help cause she gave them $900.00 Christmas bonuses. Diamond Creek gave the horses to Pelling,I was told he left because the ROI was close to 3% and the Karl fiasco didn't help either.

So what does she do with all of those groom and second trainer bonuses she collects all year?

You ever look at the clothes she wears and the trips she takes?

If I were an owner I’d demand an accounting. If she’s taking money for grooms and second trainers and not paying them it’s unethical at best.

The help is paid extremely well. Most have been with her a long time and very few leave

That's BS - all here good grooms packed up and left.  Now that Jimmy can't hold there passports hostage anymore they can leave.

I'm not jealous of Bret, I just stated a fact. I think he's a great trainer, but don't paint him as a saint. He never over payed his staff. I just remember a few blemishes on his record. The Meadows comes to mind, Nifty and Oz took most of the shit. I have zero problem with Bret or Nancy, I know both of them, can't say anything bad about them.

I never said Brett was a saint,I said his vet bills (Injecting every joint cause you can't figure out were they are off) is not his style. The 2nd trainers got their bonuses, but the grooms got screwed. Only she knows where the money is. And there was a tremendous turn over of help.

Proves ya don't fuck the help over. Shame she's so stupid. It's almost impossible to replace good help and it's never going to get any better.

If the rumours are true what a bad look to the owners. Imagine being billed a percentage of earnings thinking they are going to the men and women who work like dogs only to find out Nancy is buying another Gucci bag. If it is true, kukos to those caretakers for standing up for themselves.  I reticent to believe the Takters are capable of such behaviour and have more experience. AS the previous poster mentioned, you are nothing without good help especially when you're playing with babies.

Shouldn’t they be getting these percentages as the horse earns and not a lump sum?  Sounds like bullshit.  I doubt Nancy would pull something like that.
