Mohawk Saturday Night
« on: August 31, 2024, 06:16:32 PM »
Race#5-#3 ORDER ONE TO GO 6-1 ML Has been a fringe player since the claim, love him in here tonight, great post for a non leaver, he gets in the flow with any type of fractions, see him flying late.

Race#8-#8 HUNTINTHELASTDOLL AR 6-1 ML One of the most wide open Pacing Derby events in years. Will go off at a price, if YG can work out a trip near the front, can get up at a price. #6 will be the favorite don’t like him in here.

Rsce#12-#1 GLENBORO 6-1 ML I’ve had good luck betting this mare this year, overdue for a better performance, weak last quarters lately. She can leave, hate the post but Cullen stable was white hot last night…

Best of luck!!!

Race 6- Highland Kismet trotting hobbles off. Curious to see if he goes faster or makes a break

Kismet looked very powerful in the stretch

i am not overly enamored with final quarters and/or final times --this one looked improved--not sure if the  no hopples were the reason-i just watch races

it will be interesting to see if Kismet, Sig Sauer and Secret Agent Man are gaining on Karl--or is Karl also progressing as much

hopefully we find out

I'm sure they have been experimenting going without the hopples for quite sometime because that looked effortless especially down the stretch like you mentioned. Any thoughts when they might hook up against one another besides the breeders crown?

Usually they all go to Lexington for a speed badge

Kentucky Futurity in October if it is still called that

I think it's still called that.. it would be on Karl's "home track" so to speak . I think Sig Sauer would be tough to beat right now.. but the big races are in a month or two.. alot can change between now and then

Like the rabbit said this race is wide open meaning the Canadian Pacing Derby. I hope Bythemissal comes back into form.. his qualifier was impressive. I'd stab at it with Best in Show with Scotty Z.

Oakwood Ardan had a golden, and i mean pure golden 2nd over following the best horse--and couldnt cash in

i thought for sure he was the one who would get by them

great drive by Scotty Z
