Buy one, draw blood, then have the lab tell you they thought Jimi Hendrix was dead...

I told the owner that it will be hard to get the $60k and he said he will continue to buy them back.
he says,

"everyone I talk to complains about how they can’t find good horses in good form and when one comes up they won’t pay for it, the horse is pacing miles consistent in 149 and 150 pacing home in 25.3 but he’s not worth 50-60k? Per conditions these horse well and people would be getting a 5 year old at the best time in his career that requires zero vet work and has an amazing attitude. I’ll buy them all back if I don’t get what there worth the last two I bought back both wired the field in there next start after the auction." "Show me a horses lines that’s never been in a claimer worth 60k that are so much better then his."

Bigger question. Why would someone look to sell such a fine earning overnight racehorse?

Don't know owner but he is a financial moron.  turning down 10K to spend another 6-7k in training bills per month is retarded!

River Ness is not worth $60,000

Acting like his last 30 races never happened before his recent rebound in form is ignorant

Out of competition testing would prove to be a waste of time.  He is using a form of EPO which is NOT detectable in any of the testing that the commission utilizes.
