Trainer Change
« on: May 02, 2024, 06:33:06 AM »

First time Per Enbloom and Izzy Estrada at the BigM and Yonkers have been a tremendous
angle. They seem to be able to lift a horse, sometimes as much as three seconds. Off the
claim or just a fresh barn change, it does not matter.

How much does a trainer of that magnitude alter the way you handicap the race?

Depends on trainer. First time per A decent odds you’d be a fool not to be.

Out East that Izzy guy in a class by himself. Reminds us of Marks years ago. The Meds have no clue how to stop him either.

100%.  I have noticed that a lot of the Weaver purchases (who wind up in the Burke stable) come from trainers with low UTR and/or were driven by "stone hands."

The man is an exceptionally sharp trader. It is one of their greatest edges.

  • Sweet: Dougie, we needed an intervention, not an epilogue.  We know all that shit.  R2Drew you are 2 fighters in your 1000th round, you're not throwing haymakers, an 8 yo girl with cerebal palsy could knock you out.  Other sick, mentally ill people need this forum too  ngc3

  • dougie: And what's amazing is rainy2 is a sweet guy. Would never hurt anyone. And if he's your friend, he'd do anything for you. It's this political stuff that has gotten a hold of so many people.

  • dougie: Sweet, believe me when I say that if I can get rainy2 to lighten up, I would. But I think deep down, he's kind of relishing this. It would have tired me out a long time ago. But not Rainy. He and Andrew are forever linked within this site.
