How does Rick Zeron quallify so slow and race so fast
« on: April 18, 2024, 07:33:06 PM »
He did it again today, qualify like a 2000 claimer and race like a 100,000 claimer. Moh, race 1 , last half insane. Its one thing if the horse gets gutted in the qualifier on a fast panel, thats understandable, but to never make a move and run slow then dedtroy the field at 22-1, thats different. I didnt bet the race so I dont care in that way.

Because the qualify time hasn’t been changed since 1975

Last half 58.2: 'INSANE'? Pretty normal it seems to me. Horse had the best times of any last year.
Try again. 11.wp

Please, that's why they're called qualifiers. Just got a start in him [last race Oct]
last start. Weak, green group. Got a soft half. Nothing to see here.  11.wp

Truth speaks the truth.  It just Lame Time starting his usual nonsense unknowledgeable posts where he thinks he knows something.  I haven't seen one person agree with anything this guy has said in any post he's ever made.  Remember this is the guy that started up all the nonsense about the Pelling horse that he called a future champion and got sold a month later.  Laughable ...  Band him for stupidity.  11.wp

Really???

Can you prove this beyond a reasonable doubt???

A previous post said that qualifying times haven’t changed over the years!  100% FACT!

More often than not , there is plenty of gas in the tank after a decent qualifier.

Please learn the game PORKY!!

I have zero opinion on RZ, What’s the complaint, horse last start as a 2 yr he trotted 57 n change,
Qualified back as a 3 yr 5 moths latter 2:01 home in 30 which was probably what he was ready for, then caught a off track 1 st 2:00 mins home 29 ,
Then raced back a week later and wins in 57 home 29, pretty much same mile at the end of his 2 yr year but no a 3 yr . Line Time it was right there in the program, read it next time. I don’t think they held the horse over to race as a 3 yr cause they thought he would go slower.

hmm
looks like we have a newbie( lime time) to the harness game
always remember you are not actually betting against the house, you are betting against other people that most also know nothing
the # 3 (showed nothing) and the # 6(prone to breaks) were way overbet

Qualifiers don't pay any money and they don't have gambling on them...object is to qualify under a certain time.  Nothing says you have to give any effort whatsoever!  Tons of them line up and go single file the entire mile if they are all going to make the time.  Stupid topic!   tmbz1

OK, the track put up the wrong fractions on the screen , they put up a 102 first half, but still he wired the field after not making a move in qualifier.
