I was over at Hoosier on a Tuesday evening last August, there we 5 of us around the bar at top of main grandstand, the rest of that huge over built plant was empty. It's a dead game in Indiana lads.

handle is up -- but is it off track ?  they kick back 4-5 %....
Handle makes little difference in purses anymore ( that's scary )

All about the lights and sounds of the slot machine --- Not sure if they are generating the same revenue prior to inflation.... Ohio casino's are all down --- sports book hurting the bottom line also --- in Ohio    0% goes to horse racing.

Each Ohio track only races 4 months instead of 8 months! More months if racing would mean lower purses!   Image the “purse increase” you could have at northfield and Saratoga if they would race less!!!

Indiana as a state has one of the lowest personal income levels in the USA. Not much discretionary income left to spend on gambling. Plus, the Amish hoard the Cash they have. And I’m a big fan of the Amish. Just stating the facts.
