Greenshoe breedings tanking online vs. stud fee at Hanover!

One important thing on those breedings that sold on ongait, they were paid upfront with no live foal guarantee.

That said, you can pretty well guarantee no one is paying $25k for Greenshoe breedings and Hanover is out of their minds leaving him at that price this year.

Greenshoes numbers are worse than terrible even when getting some of the best in the country.  But.. he sure settles the mares. This may be the odd case when breeders hope their mare does not catch or have a live foal,?

Great racemares rarely produce great champions .  It is usually the lesser quality racemares that turn out the champions. Hannelore Hanover and Ariana G crossed to Greenshoe round one was a bust so far as a 2 year old.

GREENSHOE STILL HAS A CHANCE.   FIRST CROP SOMETIMES DOES NOT HIT BUT SECOND AND THIRD DO.   HE WAS A GREAT HORSE.   HARD TO BELEIVE THIS IS A LL HE WILL PRODUCE.   THE BEST IS YET TO COME.  THE LITTLE GUY SHOULD TAKE A CHANCE AT $5-6000 THIS YEAR BECAUSE IF HE HITS YOU WILL SELL NICE PRICED FOALS.  WORST CASE YOU HAVE A NICE FAIR HORSE.
