Is this the highest claiming race of all time? Race 6 .. Purse is 50,000 but not a single horse has even won 100,000 this year. Seems overpriced??

I remember at the Meadowlands claiming handicaps that reached 250k on the outside posts. Never remember higher.

Good spot to wash a stack of ill-gotten cash. Claim with cash and then get a direct deposit from claim that was made by a partner in crime. It wouldn't be the 1st time a stable claimed their own horse!

Bitter Truth

They think they are going to coat-tail the Preakness. Trouble is practically every track follows suit. Only so many bettors out there. Complete welfare.

$1,500,000 in quality astakes race held at Oak Grove on Preakness Day, not like it helped their pools, $450k in @wagers. Why not Sunday, could of been an awesome stand alone racing experience!
