If you ever went to MR nowadays you would understand how easy it is. I haven’t been there in 10 years. Back then it was a crumb of what it once was. The grandstand was closed where at least you could sit and keep warm. Now they have seating outdoors in a seating area where you can freeze your butt off during the late fall and winter months. Nothing to eat unless you want junk from a machine. Hopefully their bathroom is working. Last I was there the lady who was the track photographer wasn’t earning a dime from the management. She only earned if someone bought a picture. And here is the worst…A teller who worked there for like 60 years was told he wasn’t needed any longer. No send off, no severance and certainly no gold watch to say thank you.
