Precious Harper Finn
« on: August 02, 2023, 03:09:45 PM »
Can someone please tell me definitively has Harper passed away or not? There are websites and news organization posting stories as recently as 4 hours ago, that say she is still alive and fighting and that the news of her death is erroneous. What is happening here?

In this case you have to believe the media.  If websites and news sources say she's alive she is.

The person that reported her death on this forum went on to say in a later post that someone told him she passed, and he didn't really know so it was all 2nd hand with no source.

Hope she makes it no matter what.

The reporting on this is as painful as the tragedy. News sources say she passed. and others say she's in intensive care.  Must be even worse for the family fielding condolence calls etc. if in fact she is still with us.

UGH  We were all praying she would pull through. Just saw a story about her death in the Washington Post online, so it is true. Wednesday night. Sit in Jesus's lap, little one.

Brought up in conversation last night with a friend that she was brain dead and the family pulled the plug. Accidents happen but when children are involved it's the worse as they are stripped of a long life ahead. She will be someone's angel. So disheartening of a story.

Terrible tragedy, that's certain.
It says something about the harness racing community that as of this morning, the gofundme set up for the Finn family, is up to $76,580.  Pretty good for a fund hoping for $10,000.
