Holy shit.

Yes, it was a VERY impressive mile.

1.) Miller was just sitting down the lane and the horse was striding out beautifully.
2.) While Oak Grove is possibly the fastest track in the country, the times today were not especially fast (except for Allegient).
3.) She was wearing trotting hopples (so, perhaps, as they are more sure of her, they can go without them and she might cover even more ground /per stride).

Here is coverage of the entire day:

I typically don't don't follow the filly division, I like to follow the young studs, but this filly looks like the real deal.  Very impressive.

I was thinking the same thing.  But who knows, could be the next freak of a trotting filly!

Lance I'm surprised your not here to support the Senator. I guess its because we've gelded him here on plop.

well based on history it would suggest that a 2 yr old filly going that speed  in early july on a 5/8 in the heat puts a lot of stress on them
in this isolated case perhaps it did no harm , guess we will see

  • rainman2: yes---as i said earlier  more important things than political differences.  betting and owning horses among other things.  many other people in the world have gone through the same exact thing.  people have to learn from these experiences instead of harboring ill-will from them.  The world is screwed up because of thes things.
